Disobedience always brings terrible repercussions or consequences such as:

• Feelings of guilt.
• Feelings of shame.
• Feelings of worthlessness.
• Shattered lives.
• Marriages destroyed.
• Bitter disputes.

Although sin will never change God's immense love for us, if it can interrupt our fellowship with him, draw us away from his blessings, we become spiritually weak.
God loves us and commands us to obey him, not because he is a tyrant, but because he knows the terrible consequences of disobedience and sin in our lives.
But Satan has another purpose in mind, he seeks to stumble believers by tempting them to disobey God.
When we choose to obey God, we choose the path of wisdom.
(Proverbs 1: 7) The principle of wisdom is the fear of Jehovah. The foolish despise wisdom and teaching.
His promises of blessing for obedience far outweigh all the negative consequences.
The Lord alone asks us to submit to Him, and to leave everything under His loving care. While Satan only wants to destroy the best creation of God, that is, man.
