Being obedient to God is very important, which shows how we love God, who is our creator.
Jesus taught us that those who love him will keep his commandments. And this shows that true obedience comes from willing hearts rather than those that do not. When believers follow God's way, they experience his guidance, peace and blessings in their lives. Obedience is what we need.
We don't challenge God with the wisdom he has given us. His plans are very difficult to understand, but Christians, we are encouraged to trust him completely. Through the example of Jesus Christ, we obey the Father even unto death.
This reminds us, as believers, that obedience is an act of devotion. And this gives us the spiritual gold that we need in our lives and brings us closer to the relationship we have with God. Without that, we are nothing. Without him.
