A Little A Day, Makes A Big Difference

Tips and motivation to a “New Me”, along with Healthy food and recipes!

Dear Steemians,
I would be almost completing my 2nd week in Steemit by end of this week and I have been exploring around and getting tips from other Steemians. I have been told to focus on a topic two instead of blogging about a lot of general things.

I have been thinking, what is that one or two topics that I am good in and I can contribute to my fellow Steemian friends, to inspire and motivate them. I realized that I didn’t even had to think much, I could inspire my friends with the weight loss journey that I have been going through (in fact I am still on the process of my weight loss journey). I could share the tips with my Steemian friends and motivate them, who are struggle with their weight, like me.

ABOUT

We have been through this on the introduction section, but I guess it would not harm giving another introduction to the New Steemian Friends, who just joined recently. Ok, here I go once again, my name is Mamata, currently living in Kathmandu (the Capital City of Nepal). If you are wondering where Nepal is (which mostly I get this question whenever I tell people I am from Nepal, it is located between India and China and we have the Highest Mountain in the world – Mount Everest).

It is an not easy task to do when you are staying at home and not hitting gym, well that was my initial thoughts at first BUT now I realize how wrong I am about that.

My weight loss journey started when I left my work and started staying at home. For the past 9 months, I am staying at home and amazingly, I have lost a total of 19 kg (about 42 pounds). I know how difficult it is to believe because even I could not believe when I started weighing myself.

(Whenever I look at my past and now pictures, I feel more motivated)

I would be sharing all those tips and motivations so that it will help my fellow Steemian friends who are also struggling with their weight. As I blog about my journey, I would also be going through the process together with you.

How did I lose 42 pounds in 9 months????

It has to do completely with my lifestyle, I changed the kind of food I used to eat, yet I am loving my new diet BUT of course once a week, I do have CHEAT DAYS (it is hard not to cheat when you have friends and friends with upcoming birthdays and festive seasons to celebrate with good food). Why should you not enjoy with your friends and families, just because you changed your diet? That is when CHEAT DAYS come along.

I am a person who loves to EAT and DRINK (aren’t we born to have fun in life??? So why be left behind? Go out socialize with friends and families, live the life the fun way you want because that is what I do and will still do in future). Healthy lifestyle does not mean I can’t have fun right. So, don’t worry friends, we will continue the fun in our life and at no cost are we going to let go of it.

If you would like to lose weight and still have fun, don’t forget to follow my blog as I would be talking about easy recipes to help your weight loss journey and I would be sharing my tips and motivations to lose weight at home. I have not hit the gym at all in these 9 months and still I shredded off my 42 pounds, and I am still going through the weight loss process like you.

So, let’s go through it together, we can share tips and motivate each other and have fun together.
