Yesterday, I got my teacher mode on and went to do some teaching to @navidjahanshahi, and his brother Nima about Hive blockchain and how it works.
These two brothers got very interested when I told them about how I post content and get some rewards for it. You know, they both are content creators and trying to make a way for their content to catch attention in the typical social medias and I must say, they are not having it easy on the rewards aspect.
In fact @nimajahanshahi, is a very well known artist in our city Sirjan(A city located in the central south of Iran) but you know how the ig accounts go. People just look at the work and like it and nothing really happens after.
He gets projects for sure, but there's no consistency to the amount of orders he gets.
Nima on the other hand, is an adventurous type who likes going around and taking artistic pictures. Nima unlike his brother Navid, is just starting and I can tell he's gonna have a very challenging time making a mark in the social medias like fb or ig.
So we, me and Navid, headed to their printing shop after our yoga session in nature which was really really awesome and probably I'll make a post about that as well soon.
As shown here in my posts, Navid (@navidjahanshahi) has already singed up in Hive.blog, but he was a bit overwhelmed as this platform had a lot of new features for him, so I offered to give them little workshop on how to start their accounts, and tried to teach them the Dos and Don'ts. I basically gave them the summary of the 3-year experience I have, working with these platforms.
Nima(the mustache boy right beside me in the picture), was very very excited to see that people can have profits while posting their contents. I could literally see the excitement in his eyes. He love taking photos and Hive can be chance for him to do what he loves doing. I loved seeing their reactions but, there's that big BUT.
I had to break it to them that the only way to get the support form the community is to offer support, and real genuine interaction with the community members and they have to build and gain trust.
Of course they agreed with me as we all know, that nothing sustainable can come out of selfish snobbish actions, specially here in this space.
They both have valuable skills to offer and I'd be really happy to see them thriving in the space as we go forward in these exciting times of our life time. I will try to help them as much as I can to get them set and going. So please have an eye on these two brothers.
It won't be a bad idea to have some Iranian artists here in Hive space. :)
Thank you for reading this.
Peace! <3
