Me, Navid and Nima, had a deal to have a biking trip to one of the historic places near our city today. But, since Nima never has a definite plan, he changed the plans and the trip became a camping trip to one of the rivers around the province.
The painful part for me though, was the fact that I had to hold an online English class for my students last night, and I just couldn't risk the internet connection, specially in a place that I'm not familiar with.
So I just let them go, and I told Nima that I'd find a way to get there, but in fact I had no freaking idea how to get there(duuuuhhh!). As I was finishing up my class, I was getting a bit discouraged to get on the road in the morning.
An angel however decided to solve my problem. Haniyeh, one of our friends, messaged me and told me that she wants to go to the place, and she's coming to pick me up in the morning.
I was really happy, honestly!
So on the next morning, she picked me up and we got on the road. She had also brought one of her close friends.
After driving about 2 hours going through green fields, we finally got to reach the place that the group had been staying at.
It seemed like they had a pretty rough night with all the drinking and sort of partying! I was thinking that the fun part was pretty much over and today wouldn't get to be as great.
We sat, and had our breakfast and tried to break the ice and start the day. Everyone was actually pretty cool and the energies weren't low at all, which was a great news for me.
We finished the breakfast and gathered the stuff to have a hike and get to the river where all the fun was about to take place. We had to hike probably for less than an hour, and while getting there we couldn't help but doing crazy stuff to laugh and just to have a good time. We actually had a running race some other stupid stuff!
Once we got to the river, we started to unpack. I, however got distracted by the beautiful river in front of me and excused myself to go and wash my face by the river, and Navid tagged along as well.
I was having a hard time digesting the fact that this amazing river exists just a few hours away from our city. I was definitely happy and thankful to make it to that place this morning.
As usual. Navid needed to do some extreme yoga poses right on the rocks by the water and I didn't even try to stop him this time and let's be honest, he's pretty amazing at doing those poses.
His brother Nima joined us after awhile and that guy did the thing that made me very thankful later on.
I'm going to tell you more about the amazing day we had today and trust me, we haven't got the the real fun part yet!
Thank you for reading this.
Peace <3
