Today was a day of scrambled motions, here, at The Garden Gate! Brain motions...I'm trying to get everything, and all the miniscule details, together on our Farm Stand venture. I'm getting ready to launch our first seasons' Bounty Baskets, which will be a variety of Farmers' Market Style baskets, each with its own style of ingredients, from home grown vegetables to Humboldt Fog Chevre!

I've spent hours and hours searching, researching, delving and seeking, for the most stellar of our participants! I love the spirit of this company! Cypress Grove was developed by a single mom of 4, back in the 80's...her goal, to have fresh milk and cheese for her children. Too much milk led to the cheese, and a dream led to Humboldt Fog! I love her history, and will do what I can to support her and her future! She's a multi award winning cheese crafter, and I am proud to carry her line! If you are looking for a unique item to offer with your Farm Market Baskets, look into this!

We have local interests lined up, our local farmers, beekeepers, and ranchers. The landscape is interesting...in a bad way! The soil is a clay composite, pretty much over north central Texas...and it's really NOT farmland! So, I have elevated planting, in companion groups, all over the place!

Sometimes, ya just gotta make it happen where you can! The knees and sciatica disallow me from doing what I want, I'm sad to say! Make happiness in the garden to which you're allowed! As much as you're allowed!

Our Rooftop Garden with the Grow Bags...many varieties, all companion planted. I'll pull out the excess fallen leaves tomorrow...it was pretty chilly today, and I had NO time!

I finally got my seed order in from Burpee...I'll try to get those grounded tomorrow, in the circle around the tree. It used to be too shaded out there to grow anything! Tomatoes and Peppers...we'll talk more tomorrow! ;) It's a bit of a challenge, as I like to sleep so much! If I could get past that, I could get so much more done! Hahahah! Nah!

In the meanwhile, rest well, my friends! Steem on! Steemn on!
