Welcome to Hive Open Mic Week #255. This is your regular friend mamab on the platform. I am excited to bring to you my entry on the theme of the week which is "Good luck". I must say the boss @jesuslnrs and his team are doing incredibly well when it comes to theme selection. When you think you have seen it, they come with another superb one. Kudos 👍 and warm hugs guys.

Talking about good luck, it's something that has to do with favour and success. To relate to the theme, I chose to do the cover of this song by Buchi titled 'It is well'. Buchi is a seasoned Nigerian gospel artist who likes reggae.
I knew about the song since my high school days, my late elder brother plays it a lot. It has always been cool and sweet to listen to.

The song is a prayer and an encouragement to everyone who is passing through a phase of difficulty and challenges. Challenges are bound to come as long as one is alive, but there is a comfort in the name of Jesus. It is well with your soul, body and spirit. Good luck to all you do.

Bienvenidos a la semana n.° 255 de Hive Open Mic. Soy su amiga habitual, mamab, en la plataforma. Me complace presentarles mi participación sobre el tema de la semana, que es "Buena suerte". Debo decir que el jefe @jesuslnrs y su equipo lo están haciendo increíblemente bien en lo que respecta a la selección del tema. Cuando crees que lo has visto, vienen con otro tema excelente. Hablando de buena suerte, es algo que tiene que ver con el favor y el éxito. Para relacionarme con el tema, elegí hacer una versión de esta canción de Buchi titulada "It is well". Buchi es un experimentado artista de gospel nigeriano al que le gusta el reggae.
Conocía la canción desde mis días de escuela secundaria, mi difunto hermano mayor la toca mucho. Siempre ha sido genial y dulce de escuchar.

La canción es una oración y un estímulo para todos los que están pasando por una etapa de dificultad y desafíos. Es inevitable que surjan desafíos mientras uno esté vivo, pero hay consuelo en el nombre de Jesús. Todo va bien con tu alma, tu cuerpo y tu espíritu. Buena suerte en todo lo que emprendas.
