Helping Ukraine

First of all , I can’t not believe that I am even having to write this - my heart is broken. I can not believe that in 2022, this is even happening here in Europe, that a psychopath has actually invaded another European country for no reason.

So I’ve been wanting to write this blog for a few days now, but I have been so busy with collecting Donations for the Ukraine I have had zero free time.

Last week I got word of a Ukrainian church here in Mallorca that was collecting things to get over to the people who need it at refugee camps, I immediately started asking friends here on the island , started posting in local Facebook groups , WhatsApp groups, everywhere I could think of.

People’s responses have been amazing , so far I have done 3 collections and drop offs and I plan on doing so as long as needed.

Every single image breaks my heart , the people in the Ukraine are like you and me , hard working , normal people , they should not be invaded , Innocent people should not have their homes , businesses , LIVES taken away from them , they have done nothing wrong.

We also need to remember that the Russians are victims too , they are being forced to fight in a war they didn’t want , they don’t want ! We can not retaliate and hurt innocent Russians , the only thing we can do Is disable Putin , stop him from being able to function on this planet until he is no longer able to continue his barbaric reign.

He is no better than Hitler , he is a dictator killing innocent people , he needs to be stopped , until then we need to support the people of Ukraine , we need to stand with them , help them as much as we can.

Here is a list of things that the Ukrainian church here needs, written by a girl who’s working with them. This is not a chain message or Chain list of what is needed in the Ukraine , this is a hand written list from a Ukrainian girl who’s in close contact with Ukrainian aid organizations, if anyone has any of this things to spare , I can meet up one day and make sure it gets to her , she will take it.

If anyone in Mallorca sees this and can help , you can drop off supplies all day everyday. If you are close to Cala Millor I can even pick them up and take them myself. There are organizations you can donate to as well - they need all the help they can get.
