The country of Venezuela is still recovering from a horrific tragedy, a natural disaster that took the life of thousands of people, and left thousands more injured. Even more have become homeless as a result of this and if we are to be honest with ourselves, this has changed the lives of a lot of families completely. People have lost family members, families that were well to do might now become so poor that it will be hard for them to recover in time. Some might currently be the only survivor from their family and would need to face life on their own. There are also those who might have lost a body part that they would never get back.

A lot has happened to a lot of people, I can not begin to imagine the trauma thousands are going through and the fact is, these people need help. We might not be able to fully replace what they have lost, but if something can be done to give them a way to survive on their own and make life a bit easier, then it would go a long way. If I happen to be in the position to help, the first thing I would do is make the shelter they are in a bit more comfortable by providing more food and other social amenities.
After this, I would be able to sort out those who can work, who had businesses before now and those who need businesses. So long they are capable and well enough, then set up something small. It might not be much, but good enough to feed a family at least. Then for those who are in serious medical conditions, see them through their medical expenses until they are well enough. We might need to send the kids back to school, and also raise a crowdfunding so people can have a roof over their head. This is more than what one person can do, and if I have the opportunity to support now, I will be supporting any crowdfunding account that I am sure will reach the survivors.
