You know, I didn't think I was very ambitious until recently.
Don't get me wrong, I always believed that I am destined for something greater. It's hard to describe.
It's like, instinct. Like, knowing something will happen. Never entirely knowing the full details, but knowing for a fact that something will happen.
It's the same feeling you get when you blindly blurt out an answer without knowing if it, but being sure that it's the correct answer.
I will be successful. It's only a matter of time.
I've worked hard, blood sweat and tears. I know this sounds arrogant or even cocky, but I know it's to be.
2018 will be my year. I feel it.
Goals
- Free Commissions
Design projects that I will be at no cost to the clients. Just basically nothing but passion good will and blogging. I want to be able to help someone by offering them premium design content, spotlight their project, and be able to share my process with the world for others to benefit from. Steemit is possibly the only place that something like this can happen. And I can confidently say. "I add value to the platform".
-Giving back to my followers
One thing I really really would love to do, is give-aways of my content. Things such as merchandise from my design store. Or perhaps printouts of my more illustrative designs. I'd love to be able to get physical goods to my followers. It's something I want to try out.
Expanding my Creativity
As my blog following grows, I want to grow with it. I don't just want to do branding. I want to do Illustrative works too. Characters, concept design. Paintings, Typography, Motion graphics. Learning to confidently create high quality works in these fields will further myself as a creative.Becoming an Investor
There are so many interesting things out there. So many new ideas, unique ideas. I want to cement myself in a position where I can say, "Hey, you have a bright idea, I'd like to make it into a reality". After all, my closest circle are investors and big thinkers. It's about time that I become one too.Becoming a Whale
How many upvotes have I gotten from the community I wonder? How many creatives out there on steemit, pouring their hearts and souls into their blogging that get 0 exposure? I think I have had it luckier than most. From the beginning of my steemit adventure. But what about the folks who don't know the right people? Steemit is about rewarding interesting and unique content. I'd like to invest heavily in the platform, and become that good force that Steemit was intended for.
The road is long. The road is especially hard. No one knows that more than me. Which is why I have to do this. I cannot fail even if I tried. It's going to happen.
2018 marks the year of amazing things happening. And for me personally, it marks the start of my destiny.
There will be new things to learn, experimentation of different content types, but the posts will be original content to me. Whether it's blogging about things I've been learning about network administration, to showing off paintings. Blogging about different experiences. Just taking myself and what I enjoy, and just sharing it with everyone.
But most of all, I want to give back to the steemit community. And I will be working very hard to do so. In this, I cannot fail.
