Hello again steemians!
Today I’m going to give you a little bit of a glimpse into my book by establishing the premise! Let’s not waste time, shall we?
Set in the 23rd century, after a cataclysmic war between the known nations, my book takes place in the last remaining city of humanity nestled in a remote Siberian mountain range: Malaki. Malaki was built as an Ark to provide shelter from impending nuclear apocalypse. It’s location highly protected, when the rest of the world was destroyed Malaki remained strong, but leaderless. Factions within the city fought for space, resources and control until one day an act of terrorism brought the conflict to a halt and allowed peaceful discussion to establish the United Empire.
Now several hundred years past the founding of the Empire, a secret Academy trains and equips children who were stolen at birth to enter the gauntlet and strive to become the next elected emperor. Our main character must fight his way through this system with hopes of gaining the throne. Will he succeed? Will he fail? I guarantee you that you won’t see the end coming.
