Yep I have had messages over last couple of years from a bunch of my USA friends from the early blogging days who have ended up in Nashville, New Orleans, Florida and Austin. They want nightlife, lifestyle, good weather, but also affordable (compared to silicon valley and NY) areas with good schools.

That said, a whole bunch moved to the mountains too - we moved ~10 years ago from England to the Canadian Rockies!
