If more people stepped up, the value of their $HIVE would explode.

That is what I am wondering about, how to we increase the number of people who do these things?

I relate it to the open-source community. A few of us build things, many more complain about what we build but benefit from it, so people burn out and give up because the hassle and effort is not just not appreciated but actively criticized. I would like as much as possible for Hive to not go down this road.

An idea I had was bounties - this has worked well in the open source community where a pool of $ is available to reward people for, say, finding security flaws, fixing bugs, creating documentation ...
