I believe that privacy is a right but also a responsibility while others like @makerhacks believe that centralization is the answer, which is also a valid point.

It's not that I think centralization is the answer, I just can't think of another solution right now :)

Microsoft and Facebook are obviously making big moves to own the Metaverse before it gets popular, by using their existing assets (purchased in MS case) and that means they think they can make walled gardens before the open internet builds its own standard.

Not sure the open internet will win this time because only Mozilla seems to be working toward that goal with any momentum.
