Greetings, my dear Open Mic family! We are coming to the end of this year that has been a year of great experiences here in the community and we are reunited with the Winter theme, proposed by our friend 
To tell the truth, in my country there are not the 4 climatic seasons because of the location in which Venezuela is located, but it is proper that for the time of the year when it is winter, we celebrate the Christmas holidays and here we are very given to parrandas and carols, so that is the proposal that I bring for today.
The song is called Santa Claus came to town, which dates from 1932 and was composed by John Frederick Coots and Haven Gillespie and has been covered by many great artists, in English by the great Michael Bublé and in Spanish by artists such as Luis Miguel and Laura Pausini among others.
This song is very special to me because it brings back memories of my childhood with my mom, where both of us used to sing this song together many hours a day, so it's a way to connect me again with her, I hope you like it and enjoy my version.

A decir verdad, en mi país no existen las 4 estaciones climáticas por la ubicación en la que se encuentra Venezuela, pero es propio que para el momento del año en que es invierno, se celebran las fiestas navideñas y acá somos muy dados a las parrandas y a los villancicos, así que esa es la propuesta que traigo para hoy.
El tema se llama Santa Claus llegó a la ciudad, que data del año 1932 y que fue compuesto por John Frederick Coots y Haven Gillespie y ha sido versionada por muchos grandes artistas, en inglés por el gran Michael Bublé y en español por artistas como Luis Miguel y Laura Pausini entre otros.
Esta canción es muy especial para mí porque me trae recuerdos de mi niñez al lado de mi mamá, donde ambas al acercarse estas fechas, solíamos cantar esta canción juntas muchas horas al día, así que es una manera de conectarme nuevamente con ella, espero que les guste y disfruten mi versión.
