Greetings, my dear Hive Open Mic family! I am delighted to be here again sharing music with great blockchain talents that week after week meet in a very special event. This week we will reflect on the topic Let's Defeat Distance, proposed by our friend 
I am convinced that human connection is fundamental for emotional and mental well-being, therefore, social interactions provide us with community, belonging and security, and allow us to share experiences and emotions. Overcoming distance helps us maintain relationships and build new connections, which keeps us emotionally healthy and happy.
Today I want to share a song that I am sure you all know, because it has remained in time as the great classic of music that it is, it is Contigo en la Distancia, from 1948. This bolero, written and performed by César Portillo de la Luz, is one of the most acclaimed of Cuban music and has been interpreted by greats such as Luis Miguel and also the American Christina Aguilera.
The lyrics of the song express the idea that distance is not an obstacle for true love and that the presence of the loved one is felt even when he or she is far away. The song is a testament to the importance of maintaining an emotional connection with someone, even when you are physically away from that person.
For this version I used Christina Aguilera's track and extracted the vocals with the Moises app. I hope you enjoy my version.

Estoy convencida de que la conexión humana es fundamental para el bienestar emocional y mental, por tanto, las interacciones sociales nos brindan comunidad, pertenencia y seguridad, y nos permiten compartir experiencias y emociones. Superar la distancia nos ayuda a mantener relaciones y construir nuevas conexiones, lo que nos mantiene emocionalmente sanos y felices.
Hoy quiero compartir un tema que estoy segura, todos conocen, pues ha permanecido en el tiempo como el gran clásico de la música que es, se trata de Contigo en la Distancia, del año 1948. Este bolero, que ha sido escrito e interpretado por César Portillo de la Luz, es uno de los más aclamados de la música cubana y ha sido interpretada por grandes de la música como Luis Miguel y también la estadounidense Christina Aguilera.
La letra de la canción expresa la idea de que la distancia no es un obstáculo para el amor verdadero y que la presencia del ser amado se siente incluso cuando está lejos. La canción es un testimonio de la importancia de mantener la conexión emocional con alguien, incluso cuando se está físicamente alejado de esa persona.
