I've always been very attached to my routines. I like to do almost the same things, and I used to feel very anxious when leaving the house, especially when my daughters were little. Over time, I've learned to enjoy going outdoors, taking aimless walks, or discovering new places. But if you ask me what I prefer to do, I'd say being at home is my favorite. One of the main reasons is that we've only been living in our own house for three years, and I feel like I've never been so comfortable. I've never experienced the love you can feel for your home, seeing it clean, tidy, and beautiful, and being able to enjoy every space with your family.
Yo siempre he sido muy apegada a mis rutinas, me gusta hacer casi siempre lo mismo y me pasaba que me sentía muy ansiosa al salir de casa, sobre todo cuando mis hijas estaban pequeñas. Con el tiempo he aprendido a disfrutar de las salidas al aire libre, de las caminatas sin rumbo o de conocer lugares nuevos. Pero si me preguntan que prefiero hacer, diría que estar en casa es mi opción a escoger y uno de los motivos principales es que desde hace apenas 3 años vivimos en nuestra propia casa, y siento que nunca había estado tan cómoda, nunca había experimentado el amor que puedes sentir por tu hogar, por verlo limpio, ordenado, bonito y poder disfrutar de cada espacio junto a tu familia.
And it's not that it's the biggest, prettiest, or most special place, but it's my space, and I like to sit and drink coffee in the kitchen or dining room, watch TV on the couch, put on music while cleaning, play with the girls on the floor of their room or in the living room, water the plants on the porch, and sit there watching them ride their bikes or roller skates in the street. Being home gives me a feeling of security, tranquility, relief, fulfillment, and happiness. "It's my happy place." Every single thing I do in my home makes me happy. Cooking for my family is something I truly enjoy, and it's truly what requires the most time and dedication because I spend many hours a day cooking for everyone, in addition to the endless chores we have to do every afternoon after school.
Y no es que sea la más grande, la más bonita y especial, pero es mi espacio y me gusta sentarme a tomar café en la cocina o comedor, ver televisión en el sofá, poner música para limpiar, jugar con las niñas en el piso de su cuarto o la sala, regar las plantitas del porche y sentarme en el a verlas correr bicicleta o patines en la calle. Estar en casa me da una sensación de seguridad, de tranquilidad, de alivio, de plenitud y de felicidad. “Es mi lugar feliz”. Cada cosa que hago en mi hogar me alegra, cocinar para mi familia es algo que disfruto mucho y realmente es lo que más tiempo y dedicación amerita porque paso muchas horas al día cocinando para todos, además de las interminables tareas que cada tarde después de la escuela tenemos que hacer.
Weekends are more relaxed, and I share household chores with my husband. So on those days, my favorite activities are taking a nice nap, grilling on Sundays, and watching Korean movies or series. The latter has become one of my favorites.

Los fines de semana son más relajados y comparto las tareas del hogar con mi esposo por lo que esos días, mi actividad favorita es tomar una buena siesta, hacer parrillada los domingos, y ver películas o series Coreanas.
