Keep your eyes
Eyes are friends and guides for the heart. The eye transfers the news that it sees to the heart so as to make the mind wander about it. Because seeing freely can be a factor of desire in the heart, this noble Shari'ah has commanded us to subdue our view of something that is feared to cause bad consequences.
Allah Ta'ala said,
قل للمؤمنين يغضوا من أبصارهم ويحفظوا فروجهم ذلك أزكى لهم إن الله خبير بما يصنعون.
. "Say to the believing man, 'Let them hold their eyes and keep their cock. That is more sacred to them. Allah is Knower of what they do. '"(Surat an-Nur [24]: 30). .
Ibn Kathir rahimahullah said,
This is a command from Allah to His believing servants to guard their view of the things that are forbidden upon them. So do not look but look at things that are allowed to be seen. And hold your sight from things that are forbidden. "(Tafseer Ibn Kathir, 6/41)
Deepening the eyes is the basis and means to keep the genitals. Therefore, in this verse Allah Ta'ala first mentions the command to withstand the eyes rather than the command to keep the genitals.
If a person sprinkles his eyes, then he has spit lust. So that the eyes can do ungodly because they look, and that is zina eye. .
