Who am I??
My name is Maicker Toro and I'm 36 years old. I dedicate myself to the manufacturing and distribution of cleaning products. It's a project that started a couple of years ago and thanks to God, it has grown through the effort and dedication that my wife and I have put into building a home. My family consists mainly of my wife and my son, who is 1 year and 6 months old. They are my motivation to keep moving forward and working towards improving their quality of life and enjoying the best years of their childhood. I grew up in the capital of Venezuela, specifically in Caracas, where I enjoyed many good moments with my mother, who played the role of both mother and father and always made sure we had enough food on our table. I am proficient in sports such as basketball and activities in the gym like weightlifting, deadlifts, etc.
How did I discover the platform?
In my business, we distribute products wholesale. In the beginning, our accounts were small and we worked without any income control, receiving only cash payments. As it grew, we had to implement other payment methods to facilitate the acquisition of our product for customers. Our research led us to multiple pages, banks, and options, which seemed very promising. Before joining, I consulted with my wife about the correct way to incorporate them into the business and she advised us to seek guidance from an expert, as she had read negative comments about some of them and others did not seem reliable. We sought advice, started researching, and the topic of crypto came up. The internet was full of smoke and mirrors offering high returns for sending money, trading courses, and many other things. My advisor told me that he had made significant profits in the world of crypto games some time ago, and that decentralized finance was the best option to create an asset base for the future. I have read a few finance books, income management, etc., and it seemed to me that his argument was valid and showed results. So, I started researching everything related to those topics, reading a bit more, and venturing into this new area.
What are my interests within the platform and what topics can I talk about?
To be honest, this was very sudden for me because I knew nothing about Hive and decentralized social media. In fact, I am not at all familiar with social media. I tend to forget my passwords, mix up my emails, etc. Actually, my wife takes care of all the e-commerce. My only social media is WhatsApp, and occasionally, when time allows, I share my ideas and possible topics related to sports, manufacturing cleaning products, and some crypto-related topics. I found the Splinterlands project very attractive. My main intention was to gradually invest some liquidity and make the power of compound interest work for me. I believe it has great stability and acceptance by the investment community at the moment. As for Hive, I see the need to continue learning about its derivatives and functionality in order to deliver quality work and not hinder this beautiful ecosystem they have created.

¿Quién soy?
Mi nombre es Maicker Toro tengo 36 años de edad y me dedico a la fabricación y distribución de productos de limpieza, es un proyecto que nació hace un par de años y qué gracias a Dios fue creciendo gracias al esfuerzo y dedicación que colocamos mi señora y yo para la construcción de un hogar, Mi familia se compone principalmente por mi esposa y mi hijo, el cual tiene un 1 año y 6 meses, ellos son mi motor para seguir avanzando y buscando la manera de aumentar su calidad de vida y disfrutar de los mejores años de niñez. Crecí en La capital de Venezuela, específicamente en Caracas, allí disfrute de momentos muy buenos al lado de mi madre, quien desempeño el papel de madre/padre y siempre velo porque en nuestra mesa no faltara el alimento. Tengo un buen desempeño en actividades deportivas como el básquetbol y actividades dentro del gimnasio como levantamiento de pesas, peso muerto, etc.
¿Cómo descubrí la plataforma?
En mi negocio distribuimos al mayor, en nuestros inicios las cuentas eran pequeñas, trabajamos sin un control de ingreso y recibíamos únicamente pagos en efectivo, a medida que fue creciendo, tuvimos que optar por implementar otros métodos de pago para facilitarle a los clientes la adquisición de nuestro producto, la investigación dejo como resultado múltiples páginas, bancos, opciones, las cuales parecían ser muy prometedoras... Antes de ingresar estuve consultando con mi esposa la manera correcta de traerlos al negocio y me recomendó asesorarnos con un experto, puesto que había leído malos comentarios en algunas de ellas, que otras no parecían ser fiables, etc. Nos asesoramos, comenzamos a investigar y salió todo el tema crypto, las redes estaban plagadas de cortinas de humo ofreciendo retornos super altos por enviarles dinero, cursos de comercio y muchas otras... Mi asesor me contó que hace un tiempo obtuvo grandes beneficios con el mundo de los crypto juegos, y que las bancas descentralizadas eran la mejor opción para crear una columna de activos para el futuro.
Yo he leído uno que otro libro de finanzas, manejo de ingresos, etc. y me pareció que su argumento tenía valides y mostraba resultados de ello, comencé a investigar todo lo relacionado con esos temas, leer un poquito más e incursionar en esta nueva área.
¿Cuáles son mis intereses dentro de la plataforma y sobre que temas puedo hablar?
La verdad esto fue muy repentino para mí, puesto que no sabía nada de Hive y las redes sociales descentralizadas, de hecho no me manejo para nada con el tema de las redes sociales, siempre tiendo a olvidar mis claves, confundir correos, etc. De hecho, mi esposa es quien se encarga de asistir todo el comercio electrónico, mi única red social es WhatsApp y escasamente cuando el tiempo me lo permite, proyecto mis ideales y posibles temas a plasmar relacionados con el deporte, la fabricación de productos de limpieza y algunos derivados de las cripto. Realmente me pareció muy atractivo el proyecto de Splinterlands, mi intención principal era ir colocando gradualmente un poco de liquidez y hacer que de alguna manera el interés compuesto deje resultados, me parece que tiene una gran solides y aceptación por parte de la fuerza inversora en este momento. Respecto a hive, pues me veo en la necesidad de seguir aprendiendo todos sus derivados y funcionamiento para así presentar un trabajo de calidad y no entorpecer este lindo ecosistema que han creado.
