The Ledger Nano is a product accessible to all, as long as you own some Bitcoins or other Altcoins for that matter
First, open your Google Chrome browser. The one of the cons is that the Ledger is compatible only with Chrome, and not other browsers ...
Once on Chrome, go to ledgerwallet.com and download the application that will allow you to connect to your portfolio.
Once the application is installed, open it and wait for the opening of a new window.
You can now plug in your Ledger Nano and follow the instructions.
You will have to define a PIN code which should not be forgotten, because, after three errors, the wallet is frozen.
Then you'll need to enter a 24-word recovery code that you will note in a safe place.
And your Ledger is finally ready! 😉
The software interface is very clean and easy to handle.
Now let's move to fun stuff, transactions. First, how to receive bitcoins?
Send your bitcoin address or QR code to the person who need to pay you. ( for example:1CLZGzGnFeMV2553rSj1C6v2MGGgzZgxJq )
Your correspondent will then make a payment on this address, and you have your bitcoins!
I guess it pretty obvious, you will have to indicate the amount and then click "send". Then, you have two means available to confirm payment:
