DHAKA UNIVERSITY: The authority of Dhaka University said it will not allow outsiders to stay, roam around or to perform any other activities on campus without permission.
Outsiders would require permission from the authorities concerned or proctor to conduct any activity on the campus of Dhaka University.
The public relations office of DU issued a press release in this regard on Monday (July 9).
The decision came after a spate of heated incidents on DU campus centering the quota reform movement. The move was made to curb unwanted incidents centering the movement.
In past few days, quota reformists staged demonstration on DU campus where they were attacked allegedly by members of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and several leaders and organizers of the movement was arrested.
