Right now, I am visiting the mainland where it is cold. My sister said there are no mosquitoes here. It is too dry, she says, and cold in winter.
I am fortunate that there are not many at my elevation on the island either, but Hawaii does have the red devils.
At my sisters house, I took out some trash and something flew in the housie when I returned. A mosquito! Being a quick thinker, 
When the mosquito landed on the ceiling, I stood on a chair and whomped it with the magazine!
Then I returned to the ground. There was no dead red devil on the ceiling, so I looked at the front of this magazine to make sure I had killed it.
There I saw this was no ordinary magazine, but a coupon book called The Local Buzz !!! And the buzzy bug met its death there by the word buzz. I like most creatures but not these so I find this death most fitting.
