Hello friends, acquaintances, and the yet unmet.
I am MagooZ. I got in to Splinterlands a little over a week ago and I have got the bug!
As of this writing, my stats are
Rating: 942
Power: 8,965
Prior to this match I had used Minotaur Warrior quite a bit since he is one of the starter cards and since I am only in my second full week of playing my game skills are still pretty basic. For me, Minotaur Warrior is a support melee card. Decent health, decent mana, and the reach ability make him a strong choice in early game when the mana cap allows.
Match Rules
Rules: Unprotected (no shields)
Mana Cap: 24
Splinters: Earth, Life, and Dragon
Lineup (I chose earth for the summoner and MW)

Position 1
Solid health plus a decent melee further improved by support card #2.
Support Cards
Position 2
Speed & reach w/ good health and a shield. The shield was negated by the rule but not a significant loss.
Position 3
Brought her along exclusively for the heals to the Harvester. Magic damage is icing on the cake.
Position 4
Spectacular stats for the cost in my opinion.
Position 5
Magic damage with sneak for low mana.
Position 6
Slowing your opponent in early game is almost always the right choice in my experience.
In total 21 mana is 3 under the cap but I think my lineup was really solid. Focused damage on the back of my opponent's lineup, support for my tank in both reach and heals, and finally slowing my opponent which I hoped would allow my damage units a higher chance of getting their shots off before getting shot themselves.
The result: I won.
BUT, would I change anything if I could do it over?
Yeah, I might use Rexxie or Unicorn Mustang in the tank position to optimize. This would up my damage and bring me closer to the mana cap.
Do I like Minotaur Warrior?
You bet I do. But as with all things Splinterlands, circumstantially. He is, for me, rarely my tank which means I reserve him usually for games with higher mana caps but, at only 4 mana he can be used for tanking when the rule restricts you to creatures costing less than 5 mana.
