That's what I figured. URLs for content such as text, video, and audio should be used as originally defined. URLs for incidentals such as banner graphics or cover images can go through a link-shortener to recieve the shorter URL.
There's a link shortener I've used in the past, but I would rather use a Web 3.0 link shortener if one exists. Are you familiar with any Web 3.0 link shorteners; do they even exist?
