If the scientists believed that the temple of Kedarnath was suppressed in the ice for 400 years, but still he was safe. From the 13th to the 17th century i.e., for a little over 400 years, a little ice age came, in which a large area of Himalaya was buried under the ice.
According to the scientists, Kedarnath temple was pressed into the ice for 400 years, but nothing happened to this temple, so the scientists are not surprised that this temple is saved in the fresh water situation.
Himalayan Geological Scientist, Vijay Joshi of the Wadia Institute of Dehradun said that despite the 400 years of Kedarnath's temple being buried under the ice, this temple was safe, but when the snow stopped, the marks of his departure were present in the temple whose scientists The study is based on the basis of which it has been concluded.
Joshi says that from the 13th to the 17th century i.e., for a little over 400 years, a small ice age was encountered, in which a large area of Himalaya was buried under the ice. The temple was not inside the glacier but it was just under the ice.
According to the scientists, the walls and stones of the temple are still marked on it. These marks are made of glashier rubbing. Glashier keeps slipping all the time They not only slip but they also weigh with them and with them many rocks, due to which all the items in their path are rubbing. When the temple is being pressed into the ice for 400 years, think about how much snow and stones of these glaciers will be covered.
According to the scientists, its marks also appear inside the temple. If the stones of the walls are seen outside, the stones are flat in the inside, as if they were polished.
Construction of the temple: According to some people, this temple was built by the king Bhoj, who was the ruler of Vikram Samvat 1076 to 1099, who ruled the city from 1076 to 1099, but this temple was built by the Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century. It is said that Pandavas had built a temple right behind the existing Kedarnath temple, but that temple could not bear the brunt of the time.
However, according to Garhwal Vikas Nigam, the present temple was built by the Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century. That is, this temple had already been built before the period of the small ice age which began in the 13th century.
Lyconomatity Dating: Scientists of Wadia Institute have also made lyconometry dating to Kedarnath area. By combining this technique with algae and their fungus, their time is estimated. According to this technique, the construction of glacier in the area of Kedarnath started in the middle of the 14th century and the glacier was formed in the valley till 1748 AD i.e. nearly 400 years.
Joshi said that the biggest thing is that millions of years ago Kedarnath valley was built by retreating Chobriari Glashier. When the glacier retreats, like a road roller, they grind all the rocks below them and leave the pieces of large rocks together.
Joshi says that there was an art of making the temple in such a place. He built a place and a safe temple that till now it has no harm. But people of that time allowed the population to settle in such a sensitive place, then there was a natural loss.
Strong is the temple of Kedarnath: Scientist Dr RK Doval also repeats this. Doval says that the temple has been very strong. Thick-thick rocks are covered with its walls and its roof is made of the same stone.
Kedarnath Temple is 85 feet high, 187 feet long and 80 feet wide. Its walls are 12 feet thick and are made with very strong stones. The temple has been erected at 6 feet high. It is astonishing that how many such stones should be brought to such a height, how the temple complex should have been given. Experts believe that interlocking techniques have been used to connect stones in each other. This strength and technique has succeeded in keeping the temple in the center of the river.
Kedar valley: Kedanath Dham and temple surrounded by mountains on three sides. On one side is about 22 thousand feet high Kedarnath, on the other side, 21 thousand 600 feet high cost, and on the other side is 22 thousand 700 feet Bharatkund. Not only three mountains but also the confluence of five rivers is here. Mandakini, Madhiganga, Kshiraganga, Saraswati and Swarnagauri. Some of these rivers are considered fictional. Mandakini is clearly visible in this area. Heavy snow in the winter and tremendous water in the rain.
Fear of the future: Actually this area of Kedarnath is a part of Chorabari Glashier. Scientists say that such flames or other natural disasters will continue even after the continuous melting of glaciers and erosion of rocks.
Predictions of the Puranas: According to the predictions of the Puranas, the entire pilgrimage area will disappear. It is believed that on the day the male and Narayan Mountains will meet together, the path of Badrinath will be completely closed. The devotees will not be able to visit Badrinath. A natural disaster in Uttarakhand indicates this. According to the Puranas, in the coming years, the current Badrinath Dham and Kedareshwar Dham will disappear and in the future, there will be a new pilgrimage called Prabhbadri in future.
