Recently, I was watching the new season of The Rings of Power, and it made me want to play something related to that universe. Although the closest option I had was Shadow of Mordor, I had finished it a while ago, and the second part isn’t available for PS3. So, I started searching and found The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, a fairly old game, but it seemed perfect for the nostalgia I was feeling.
What motivated me the most was the fact that it could be played multiplayer in split-screen, which encouraged me to invite my girlfriend to join me once again. (My worst mistake 😅🥲).
Recientemente estuve viendo la nueva temporada de los anillos de poder y me dieron muchas ganas de jugar algo relacionado con este universo y aunque la opción mas cercana que tenia era el shadow mordor hace lagun tiempo ya lo habia terminado y las segunda parte no esta disponible para ps3 asi que estuve buscando y encontre El Señor de los Anillos la Guerra del Norte un juego bastante viejo pero que se veia ideal para esta nostalgia que tenia y lo que más me motivo era que se podia jugar multiplayer en pantalla dividida cosa que me animo a invitar a mi novia una vez mas a jugar junto a mi.( Mi peor error😅🥲)

Luego de pasar un par de horas y horas para completar el primer nivel o capitulo, en el que pasamos de muchas muertes y lamentos de son muchos controles no los puedo recordar no me preciones a estar explicando sobre la historia de la tierra media, algo que no puedo negar me encanta tener con quien hablar, pero ahora llega el pero de los pero.
After getting used to all this, the worst of all—the big but—arrived: she won’t let me play anything solo anymore.
Whenever I have free time to dedicate to gaming and turn on the console, there she is, lurking in the shadows, saying, Just one quick game! 😂
And if that wasn’t enough, she refuses to take a break from the game, which I’m really struggling with. I get it, a game like this can be addictive, but I like to enjoy them little by little. More than anything, I want to play my Battlefield and Dead Space sessions, things I’m definitely not being allowed to do. 😢
Luego de acostumbrarse a todo esto llego lo peor de todo el gran pero, no me deja jugar ahora a nada rn solitarioo, en cuanto tengo un tiempo libre para dedicarle al gaming y toco la consola ahi esta ella en la sombra al asecho diciendome ** una partidita** jjjj y como si fuera poco no quiere descansar el juego qlgo que sufro mucho , yo entiendo que un jugo asi puede aer adictivo pero me gusta disfrutarloos jugarlo poco a poco y mas que nada quiero jugar mis partidas de Battlefield y dead space cosas que no me estan permitiendo 😢
But all jokes aside, I think it’s amazing that after so many attempts to motivate her to play something other than Plants vs. Zombies or the typical match-3 games, she finally got into and enjoyed this game.
What’s super frustrating, though, is having to repeat levels over and over again because if the NPC accompanying us dies—and me along with him—we can forget about being revived. Why? Because she’s too focused on running around and smashing crates instead of helping me back up. 😂 How tragic!
Ya pero fuera de broma me parece genial que luego de muchos intentos por motivarla a jugar algo mas que planta vs zombie y los típicos juegos de pelotitas se animata u le gustase esta entrega, lo que es super triste que tengamos que repetir los niveles una y mil veces ya que si muere el npc que anda con nosotros y junto a el yo podemos olvidarnos de ser rescatado ya que ella sesentra en corre ry romper cajitas en lugar de reanimarnos jjj que trizte.
Little by little, we've managed to overcome the levels and challenges that Middle-earth has thrown our way. I just hope the game is long enough so we can keep enjoying this adventure and not have it end in the blink of an eye. 😜
Poco a poco hemos logrado ir superando los niveles y los desafíos que las tierras medias nos han puesto y espero que el buego sea lo suficientemente largo para poder seguir disfrutando de esto y no se termine en un dos por 3😜
