Analyzing the rulesets, "Back to Basics" () and "Broken Arrows"() , going for a Magic Burst lineup was the most logical choice here for me and my opponent.
We both knew that we won't be able to use cards with ranged damage due to "Broken Arrows" (), only "Melee" ( ) or "Magic"() cards were allowed.
So we both went with the best strategy available; to go with a "Melee" frontline and put "Magic"() dealers at the backline.
"Back To Basics"() heavily favors magic dealers as they become free from counters like "Void armor"() and " Void"().
Magic dealers also become free from "Sneak" () and Opportunity () attacks that could bypass a tank and deal damage to the backline.
Applying the knowledge above, I went for a Hydra having decent damage and health, a Peaceful Giant for a solid secondary tank at the 2nd position and two magic dealers Magi Sphinx and Magi Of The Forest .
I lost to my opponent because of his Summoner's abilities that decreases melee damage and speed by 1 () ().
My opponent also countered my Hydra's damage effectively by having a monster with shields in the frontline.
I learned a lot from this match and shall take note to consider using Crypt mancer whenever the ruleset is "Back to Basics () and also if Alric Stormbringer can't be played.

I put Hydra again as my tank and put magic backlines to deal sufficient damage. I put Spirit Of The Forest at the last position because of it's high health, speed and to also take advantage of the Enraged () rule.
It was very fun to see my Spirit Of The Forest to reach 9 speed.π
I got owned by this Overpowered Gladiator card, Quora Towershead.
why the hell does it have +2 Magic () ,+3Melee( ) +3 speed! () and HEAL () at level 1?? π€―
I hope I get a copy of that from my next gladius case. damn.

Similar to my first battle, both sides here knew that the best way to win with these kind of rulesets (,) is to go with a magic burst line up. @marshall1 won due to his team dealing more magic damage per round, he had more magic dealers in his team than his opponent's.
