@hatdogsensei made a wise choice in this battle by choosing monsters that do magic damage. He did this because he anticipated that his opponent would deploy tanks with the ability to utilize shields; magic quickly destroys this type of monster because shield cannot lessen magic damage taken. Hatdogsensei, good job!
In this battle, @whitewolves was very astute to foresee that the opponent would use magic monsters, so @whitewolves used Minotaur Warlord, a tank with magic reflect, in addition to pairing it with Queen Mycelia, a card with the ability amplify which doubles the amount of damage reflected by magic reflect, paired with 3 other cards that have heal, leaving the opposition in the dust! Great work, @whitewolves!
Due to the opponent's history of using Water Splinters and the fact that we are all aware of how terrifying a hard-hitting team like Alric Stormbringer + friends can be, @wednesdays may have assumed that the opponent would use magic monsters in this battle. As a result, @wednesdays played it safe by using Owster Rotwell as a means of countering magic-dealing monsters, but the opponent used melee monsters instead. In order to protect themselves, @wednesdays deployed a tank with thorns to try to block the enemy's melee front monster. They were successful in doing so; otherwise, @wednesdays would have lost this battle quickly. @wednesdays played a very clever game!
