I think there is time for work and for the family. you just have to plan. when i worked i used to go on vacation in august. and take advantage of it to travel with my son and nieces. I really didn't like to go out in December, because these days I take care of home, holidays, and family.
I think you have to take advantage also of your enjoy, maybe you will get some idea to solve the crisis in your company.
