Hello friends!
During our stay in Crete, cats accompanied us wherever we went. This was the case during my wife and I’s walk through the Old Town area of Chania.
We walked along narrow streets and here and there we came across street cats peacefully sleeping or walking.
So gradually we reached a small intersection and saw an interesting bench.
It was simply impossible to pass by, especially since there were two funny cats there.
We tried to look at them so as not to disturb them. By the way, opposite the bench there was an entrance to a busy tourist street, but this didn’t bother the cats at all.
The cats were at home! There was water for them, food and a place to sleep.
I thought that someone had a really cool idea to make such a corner for cats. They came here to drink water, eat and play with each other.
The sign above the bench said that they really care about the cats and if anyone wants to participate in this with a donation, then please, these people will be very welcome!
Yes, street cats on the island of Crete have full rights and excellent care!
