Just went to a ford dealership today and sat in a transit custom, really nice but ther is a problem - its to much of a tight squeeze to get from the drivers seat to the cargo area without opening the door and going outside to use the side/rear doors. (would suck in the rain or letting out heat in the cold!

The roof is just to low, and being able to seamlessly move from front to back of the van is pretty integral to what we want.

A short wheelbase Mercedes sprinter is looking like it might be the one!
