I would like to present to you my latest work. I stepped out of the realm of music stepping back into the one of sports, Motorcycle racing to be more accurate.
Its MM93,... better known as Marc Marquez!!!
I got hooked up with MotoGP when a very young Valentino Rossi appeared on the scene ... As we are more or less the same age (I am a little younger though) it was really exciting to see him battle his way through the years. I like motorcycles a lot, the feeling it gives is something uniek... But to go that fast, so close to each other, and sometimes even touch each other on purpose is something which not everybody can do. Fascinating indeed!
I see a lot of the young VR46 back in MM93, the same will to always win, always push to the absolute limit where very few get. A shame that they are battling against each other now with this big gap in age between them, it would have been fireworks to see them frustrate each other at their prime! Not that they didn't manage to frustrate each other even like this ;))
Back to the drawing, I dont have many pictures of the process this time, as I was busy on two separate drawings at the same time, so I was jumping from one to the other constantly, in a frenzy which made me forget all the rest.
I had some problems in getting the first sketch right though, re-inventing it over and over again... There always was something off, and I had a hard time putting my finger on it. I think I managed to patch it good enough
The rest came naturally easy, fortunately :)) I am getting a hang on the colors as well, as I like the coloring on this one very much!
