Yes, it is one of those nights in which I cant catch sleep. It doesn't happen that often, but when it does I know already I will not sleep for hours, so I might as well get up and draw something :))
To do something small just to get sleepy again, I took an old caricature I made some time ago ... The main purpose in those days was just to hammer out as many caricatures I could, just practice different shapes and things...
Back then I bought regularly those gossip magazines just to have a bunch of different faces to chose from, and one day I stumbled on this picture of Edith Piaf. I have to say that this was an exceptionally ugly shot of her, but that is exactly what caught my attention! You will see the picture (even if very small) below, in the sketch picture :)
So for tonight it was inking and giving some shadows to Edith
