Someone in Bitcointalk just posted a link of what appears to be the first desktop wallet for Bitcoin Gold. It does not come from the original "developers" but a company calling themselves "BTC GPU SAINT LLC.".
I would not touch this with a stick. In best case it may be a fork of Electrum without giving credit to the original project. In worst case it may rip you off your BTC balance. Go figure. Big red sign here!!!
Here is that candidate: https://www.electrum-gold.org Be careful!!!
If you are brave and would like to try, move your BTC balance to another address before attempting the stunt.
Stay safe, not sorry.
Still no wallet from the Bitcoin Gold developers, they were busy forwarding the btcgpu.org website to a new domain bitcoingold.org. That takes a lot of effort :).
