Hive community spotlight #14: Interview with @incublus

Today we are excited to meet another incredible user, we'll get to learn more about him and his amazing projects on hive. We have the honor of having @Incublus as our guest today!

Can you tell us about your journey into the Hive community and how you became involved in various roles and initiatives?

I joined Hive about 2 years ago on the recommendation of a friend and spent a lot of time getting to know the platform. I wandered around the Discord servers, read a lot of posts to learn, and slowly started taking part in projects and communities. As I progressed, I created my own projects.

What inspired you to take on the role of organizing the Turkish HPUD (Hive Power Up Day), and what impact do you hope it has on the community?

The reason I started this event was to get the Turkish community to Power Up more actively. The community is getting 600 to 1000 HP every month thanks to this event. Imagine the impact in a year and a few years. Sometimes it's much more than that and imagine if there are like 100 people participating in this event. Then the Turkish community can make a lot of progress.

As the founder of the "To Hive with Incublus" live show, what motivated you to create this platform, and what topics or discussions do you focus on during the show?

After the earthquake in Turkey, people became inactive and stopped sharing. My goal with this show was to bring them back to Hive by chatting with them, answering their questions and helping them. As the show continued, the participants increased in terms of locals and foreigners, now more foreigners are participating, but we have a lot of fun and our range of topics is quite wide. We talk about tons of different things.

How do you balance your responsibilities across different communities within the Hive ecosystem?

I actually make sure I spend enough time on all of them and that's it. I have some priorities and I act according to those priorities, I focus on the projects that contribute the most to Hive and you might hear my name in more projects in the future. Stay tuned.

Can you share some memorable moments or experiences you've had while engaging with the Hive community?

Oh there's a lot I remember about this. I chatted with a lot of people on Hive and one of my favorite people to chat with is Derangedvisions. He taught me a lot about Hive when I first joined and had a great sense of humor. I still remember that day when he made fun of a scammer.

How do you envision the future of Hive, and what role do you see yourself playing in its development and growth?

Hive is a huge platform and growing day by day. Just like many other ecosystems. I don't know how much I'm contributing to its growth right now, but I'm trying to help people become more active. I also have future plans for the Turkish community. I'm trying to do my best to help the community grow.

What advice would you give to newcomers who are looking to get involved and make a positive impact within the Hive community?

I was a newcomer myself 1.5 years ago and I know how they feel. There are some advice I can give them, of course. They should focus on making friends and people rather than making money in Hive. Don't avoid reading and researching to learn. Find a niche they can write for. There are tons of them on Hive.

Is there anything else you'd like to share with the community or any messages you'd like to convey to your fellow Hive members?

Hive is a big platform and let's enjoy it. Let's focus on being here permanently instead of earning 3-5 something from here. We are on the social media platform of the future, my friends!

Finally, is there anyone else you suggest should be interviewed here?

Hmm I think @melinda010100 would be a good choice. She has helped me and many other Hive users and she is a great person. She's doing great things at Ecency.
