Foto tomada desde mi azotea / Photo taken from my rooftop.

Hello everyone in the community! I hope you are all doing great today.

A little while ago, I went up to the rooftop to pick up some laundry I had washed because the weather was getting pretty bad. As you can see in the picture I took, the sky completely closed in with a dark, leaden tone, the kind that warns you a huge downpour is on its way. The wind started blowing hard and the air felt heavy—one of those moments when you just want to run inside the house to take shelter.

But before going back down, I looked towards the horizon over the roofs and buildings of my neighbors, and I noticed something very beautiful that made me reflect. Right there, cutting through the darkness of the clouds, a piece of a rainbow appeared. It wasn't your typical giant postcard rainbow with a blue sky in the background; it was a timid, vertical flash, but with super vivid colors that stood out massively in the middle of all that gloom.

I stood there contemplating it for quite a while, and I couldn't help but think about how much that image resembles the tough times we sometimes have to go through.

There are times when life gets exactly like that sky. Financial issues, daily worries, or bad news hit us all at once, and we feel like the world is crashing down on us. You look ahead and everything looks black, as if the storm is going to last forever and you have nowhere to hide.

However, this photo reminded me that no matter how ugly, complicated, or gray a situation gets, hope never goes out completely. Always, no matter how hidden it might be, there is a little ray of light that manages to seep through the heaviest clouds. Sometimes that light is the support of a friend, a small achievement at work, or simply the inner strength we pull out when we think we can't take it anymore.

In the end, rainbows cannot exist without dark clouds and rain in the mix. Hardships, even though they hurt and are annoying at the time, are also part of the journey and teach us to value the sunny days much more.

If you are going through a gray day today or feel like the storm is about to hit you, hold on a little, take a deep breath, and don't give up. That rainbow of yours will come out sooner or later.

What do you think of the view from my roof? Does it also happen to you that a small detail in nature changes your mood or makes you reflect? I would love to read your comments and know how you handle those days when the sky turns dark.

A big hug to everyone, and thank you for stopping by to read my post!
