The crypto currencies had a very bumpy start to the year 2018. In Asia, the US and also Davos, the regulation of cryptocurrencies is being discussed. On Friday, a hacker attack shocked the scene and those users who had an account with Coincheck. The Japanese television station NHK reported on Friday the crypto exchange had been stolen coins worth 430 million euros. Presumably, the coins were stolen from Ripple and NEM and transferred from the stock market. Shortly before Coincheck was freezing all stocks, according to the transaction history, strangers canceled large amounts of ripple from the stock exchange. Bitcoin tumbled to around $ 10,200 and recovered to around $ 11,000 during the night on Saturday. Ripple fell to a week low of $ 1.10 and recovered only sparsely on Friday.
