I've been trying to understand this whole crypto -currency phenom.. what is the purpose and why is there interest in it..
Now from what I learned is , it seems that in the beginning when bitcoin was started it was more of a game for mostly the "computer geek". Somewhere along the line besides the creator of bitcoin people started realizing that the potential of a decentralized currency could change the game and put regular people in charge of their own money and its value..Bitcoin looks like its here to stay but it may NOT be the dominate crypto in the long run (maybe 5 years from now) ...Why ,because like everything else that's innovative and "kool" ,there is always someone looking to take what it lacks combined with what makes it good and whollah they make it better...
Ethereum the BETTER version bitcoin from what I understand is faster and its eco-system is easily buildable for other application...other crypto-currency seem to be using the ethereum block chain which is the back bone of everything VERY IMPORTANT..Bitcoin has been around for roughly 8 yrs now while ethereum just 2 ..In such a short time developers are realizing the abundance of uses the the ethereum block chain.. I have to cut this short fyi I own bitcoin and ethereum but imo I believe ethereum over time will surpass bitcoin..... DO YOUR RESEARCH! MAKE YOUR OWN DESCISION!
