Work keeps me occupied, more than I would like. I get an average of 3 hours at home to do whatever I need to do. Often I've found a lack of things to do, having spent most of my energy between 4 and 4. Yet whenever I'm at work I can never stop thinking about the things I would rather be doing. Including and especially posting here, makeing videos flying drones, making exploration digital. I've long wanted to have a comfortable place to write, and since I get a little time while we drive to work every morning I would like to do some short form writing.

Writing a few paragraphs is easy, the difficulty comes when trying to make sense. Where limiting length helps, I find myself revising massively over and over. Iteration is a staple of my writing; which makes long form take a lot longer than it maybe should or that seems worthwhile.

Making a video is topic depemdant I could knock a vlog like video out in an hour if I had the footage I need. Another desire I wish to follow more, building more substance into my work. I do believe it will require more scripted or intentional explanation on my part. I read a comic called Understanding Comics the invisible art by Scott McCloud search Understanding Comics PDF on Google and it's the first result. I read the PDF but ended up buying a physical copy. Definitely worth it, he has done a great job breaking down the experience of reading and even perception in general. I highly recommend reading the first few pages at least.
