A wonderful occurrence
we don't acknowledge
all the time
a divine intervention
the only of its kind
a phenomenon so great
all religions
have their own
defying laws of nature
everything that you have known
performed by average men
they enter through
the heart
impossible to know
if or when they'll start
relinquishing the need
to explain
the unexplainable
defying all the odds
to obtain the unobtainable
somewhere among the ether
that thing
that binds us all
way up in the heavens
where angels dance and sing
where hearts are free to mend
and the broken
are consoled
the intention of their meaning
sometimes remains unspoken
a simple act of kindness
bestowed
from up above
rarely do we witness
this random kind of love
we've heard about the stories
believe in the abstract
read the
cherished books
relate to them as fact
bow to their beauty
that warm
and holy place
believe in their magic
stand in awe of their grace
Miracles are funny
they don't
happen everyday
but if you get real lucky
one might come your way!
