Art can be defined in so many ways but what really moved me is the one given by Collins and Riley, who define art as "anything made or done by man that affects or move us so that we see or feel the beauty in it."
Each art's color, symbol, and aspect represent various meanings and stimulate different feelings. I can relate to it because art serves as a room for solitude, allowing me to appreciate its beauty more. In my own experience, I used to get moved by arts that seem simple yet impactful, which pleasures my eyes and lets me infer emotion from it.
I guess it's primal for me to be elicited by the arts' sense of calmness and tranquility, especially if the colors used involve orange, green, and blue, which I found really helpful in diffusing my anxiety. Arts emit an aura that moves us, making us feel and see its beauty and even what lies beyond it.
When I see one, it suddenly makes me pause for a moment, and I feel a particular connection between me and what the art is trying to convey, something that softens the feelings it evokes, even if it is tragic. This is so because emotions can be triggered by art, and they influence our ideas, attention, or even our interest.
From my own perspective, I see something in it, and it is so powerful that it can move me, something that absorbs me and makes me feel an incredible emotion. To say that we are emotionally touched by art when we have passionate interactions with it would indicate that the artwork may cause us to reflect on our own life, which I think is the overall explanation behind the chosen definition.
By the way, I have also produced some of the art I have made as NFTs in the Juungle platform. The collection was named ZEY. The themes include cute characters, sceneries, and galaxy-themed nfts.
Some of the examples are as follows.
Some of it is actually made using Microsoft Powerpoint only, and I had to have patience indeed. Fortunately, it turned out cute.
It's been a while since the last time I actually made some updates regarding it. I have become too busy, and I had no time to make more of it.
I still have a few in my assets profile on the mentioned site, and should you want to have one (until the following will be all distributed), you may say so below or via Twitter.
All in all, art is something that encompasses diverse things. Each of us may define it in our own way and what's good about it is that, through it, we can express ourselves through it. Until next time!
