Left 4 Dead 2 Dark Carnival Full Gameplay

In Left 4 Dead 2 after the characters finish the last mission getting inside the car, their Dead Center campaign will be over. Then, it will automatically take you to the Dark Carnival campaign where the main mission is surviving until the helicopter comes to lift all the characters aboard. In this campaign, we will see newer types of zombies such as the clown which usually comes with a few more hordes behind it. The clown only exists here and in different types of campaign in the game, there are different types of zombies too.

Dark carnival is quite interesting as the setting is located inside the carnival and its surrounding areas.Depending on the level of the game, the zombie can get quite aggressive and they can come in hordes. Since the place is quite spread out, it’s best to walk nearby teammates or if you’ll die, you have no chance of being helped by teammates.

There are a few horde spots such as in the final part where you have to fight a tank (the biggest zombie) and a lot more variety of zombies that could last for about 4-5 minutes before the help arrives or the game ended. In the horde spots typically you can find med kits, ammo, and plenty of guns but use them wisely because they can run out before your team can even win the game.

In this game, while you typically want to look ahead, it’s also best to look behind as something that happened to me in the game where I was attacked by a zombie behind me. It often happens now. I learned to also check behind a few times provided I know the teammates are also nearby and I am not too far behind.

There are cases in this game where nobody helped each other and died. Since again, the essence of this game is cooperation, getting into such a game was quite a waste of time and not enjoyable at all. Depending on many factors, one campaign can last up to 41 minutes to 50 minutes. I once tried going up to Swamp Fever and it took me more than 2 hours from the start to the beginning.

This game is best played in moderation because once you finish all the campaign, it gets too old repeating the same scenario. It’s also not the game where you can have any progression or get the ELO rating. There’s almost no reward if you’re getting better at shooting the zombie and navigating the map. So, playing in moderation is the best approach to this game. As overtime, once you master the map, different types of game in Left 4 Dead the fun diminishes pretty quickly.
