Some people swear by iced coffee and they can't seem to get enough of it. Even chain coffee generally tend to serve iced instead hot coffee. According William ukers in his book " all about coffee" , there is a coffee called Mazagran a sweetened cold coffee which water or ice has been added to it originated from Algeria that may be the first iced coffee existed.Check out that book, it has everything you need to know about coffee. Though the book uses old English so reading it is a bit chore.
Today I am showing you three iced coffee that you can try at home. You can use drip coffee or instant coffee, your choice. In this recipes, I am using both. With only these tools and ingredients below you can make Cafe-like coffee.
Ingredients
Making coffee is actually knowing about measurement and substance. It is important to know which has to be first and which has to be poured the second.
You can use either drip coffee or nescafe. Though with nescafe you get the crema benefit compared to drip coffee.
It is similar to greek frappe method but the difference is instead using whisker, I used bottle to shake it. Please don't use plastic bottle like I did because it can be too hot to handle when you add 50ml hot water to it.
This requires an overnight freezing. So, since I already made it the other day, today, I am showing the end version of it.
This recipe is quite fast and simple to make.
I generally prefer to eat it after it's chilled inside the fridge. That recipe is actually quick one and has more complex ingredients than some chocolate cakes out there.I guess that's just my preference. Plus I use steamer instead oven because my oven doesn't work at the moment.
