I have good news. I was accepted into work yesterday,😌So now I'm posting my fan-art again a week I guess.

By the way this is my 3rd fan-art here on @splinterlands Community ,and for this blog I draw the Radiated Brute still from Fire Unit in my own style. In the original design Radiated Brute is a woman, right? But in this fan-art that I created, I draw this card as a man, it's because I don't know how to sketch a woman's body shape.

Orignal Design of Radiated Brute and its Lore:

The spreading blight on the continent of Praetoria twisted both the land and its people.

Plants and animals were the first to become corrupted. Fungus sprouted from vegetation and  gave them sentience. Animals grew extra limbs, heads, and grew to extraordinary sizes.

Then the people fell ill. Some thought it was from the plague brought about by Doctor Blight. Others thought perhaps it was from the poisonous gases that seeped from the fissures near the volcano.

Whatever it was, those who survived the sickness were changed. They mutated, grew stronger, and were filled with an uncontrollable rage. Some were unable to control that rage and went on murderous rampages. Others fought to maintain their sanity long enough to protect their family, friends, and neighbors from themselves. They fled into the Jade Thicket, where they became as feral as the wild animals of the continent.

The people of Praetoria referred to them as Radiated Brutes.

Process:

First Step:

I created first a fighting pose like Gohan Enrage Mode.. HAHA.

Second Step:

I cleaned my sketch, and add some details, popping veins on his body.

Third Step:

Putting the base color.

Fourth Step:

This is the most exciting part for me, applying shading and lights. I use only light colors on his veins, why? To show that he is infected by the mysterious sickness according to the lore.

Fifth Step:

Putting some background, at first I planned is to use flaming background with Doctor Blight at the back.

But it looks like a lousy thing, so I revised it.

But before that I created a glow effect for the Brute.

I focused only for the Brute so I just googled some Doctor Plague images and to use for our background.

Then I sketch again for the background, some smoke this time.

And here comes Doctor Blight. I also added some poisonous smoke.
