These were only few locations we visited this time. But that just means we have to go back and visit more caves in the area, as there are quite many. Also, I would love to visit Sigulda during different seasons, especially autumn. It is really magical there around that time with maple tree leaves being golden.
Yea, these carvings made me think about a lot of things. For example, how come we humans value historical and old things so much? And today to leave your full name in the wall would be like admitting crime and police officers would track you down and charge you for vandalism while these lords from 300 years ago, were vandals too, but no one saw it that way then.
Ahaha, yea, we cracked up at the signs too.
