Wow that's such an amazing place. I think those carvings are so cool. It's funny that it's prohibited to carve in the sandstone and yet the entire place is full of them lol. As you said, it just takes one person to do it. But I think they add something special to the area and do not detract at all. Sometimes human influence and nature combine beautifully.
