Greetings to all photography lovers!
We live in a colorful world, but I guess before the colors, there needs to be some gray tones to build the definition of the scenery.
I would like to share with you some black and white exercises I did.
First one below is a very high contrast picture. My aim was to study contours. As you can see I took a picture of a parked car in front of a building entrance.
Second one is more surreal. I took a close up shot of a piece of wire and then used turbulance tool here and there.
On the next picture, I tried to combine the clouds in the sky with the exhaust fumes from the boat. I wanted to create an effect that the clouds above are developed by the boat.
Fourth one is also using the clouds. Here in this picture I wanted to emphasize how small a ship can be under the vast sky above and over the vast sea below. Maybe seaman's life is hard.
And the last one is about our family member Mars. He gave a great portrait when I was waiting for an opportunity to capture it. Thank you little man!
