Hi all,
Another post in this series. Thank you for your support in the previous posts π
This series intends to determine if there are other aspects of cards that may contribute to increasing its value. Based on your feedback I can focus on more/other things β so feel free to tell me where you want me to go into further detail.
I include some analysis on where the cards fit in terms of strategy and a market analysis of the price of the card in previous months. Feel free to suggest what more do you want me to look into.
In this edition I will be looking at the Chain Spinner.
I particularly like this Cardβs art β very badass imo!
This cardβs ID number is 283, and it is a card from the Reward set.

Card stats
I will be focusing my analysis on the usefulness of this card in lower leagues (i.e. bronze to gold).
This card costs 5 mana and its main attribute is the HP + Armor under the void armor ability. On paper, this card would eventually be useful as a low mana tank. However, with current cards, Life splinter is currently more competitive at very low mana battles (<15) under Mother Khala, and high mana battles (>40) under General Sloan. This makes that Chain Spinner does not fulfill any role: in lower mana battles it is too expensive, in high mana battles there are other better tanks. Moreover, Grandmaster Rathe, negates this cardβs main advantage versus others.
This is a card I can safely suggest newer players to skip.
A cheap card, which currently lacks usefulness in the game, but maybe not in the market.
Letβs look at the last 6 months.
Looking at the graph, the following can be concluded:
Please let me know in the comments if there is any further information you would like me to include in future analysis.
Stay safe!
