Introduction

Another post in this series. Thank you for your support in the previous posts 😊

This series intends to determine if there are other aspects of cards that may contribute to increasing its value. Based on your feedback I can focus on more/other things – so feel free to tell me where you want me to go into further detail.
I include some analysis on where the cards fit in terms of strategy and a market analysis of the price of the card in previous months. Feel free to suggest what more do you want me to look into.
In this edition I will be looking at the Failed Summoner.

Strategy

I will be focusing my analysis on the usefulness of this card in lower leagues (i.e. bronze to gold).
This card’s main advantages are its low mana (only 2), 4 HP, and Magic reflect ability. This card is well known to most players as it is available to play freely. This is a very useful card, which sees a lot of play in low/medium mana battles. Given its low mana cost and respectable HP, it can serve as a tank in those really low mana battles (<15).
Magic reflect is also great and can be game breaking at times – furthermore, given the natural inclination to use magic damage in most battles.

Market Analysis

A good card to have and a sound investment as it hasn’t lost value.
Let’s look at the last 6 months.

Looking at the graph, the following can be concluded:

in regular foil, this card seems to hold its value despite the overall market performance. It sits in the range 1.5-2.4$ and can be considered a good investment (also due to its usefulness in game).

in gold foil, there is a downward trend, although not too steep, and a resistance can be considered at 15$.
