Thanks for the video call today, totally by accident but turned out to be the best thing happened today. The garden looks so lovely and alive, don’t you agree that someone who loves gardening got passions for life? Guess what, tonight I went to Morrison’s and bought a small port of mint, guess who is going to turn that into more mint and could enjoy the fresh mint tea as well from now on, lol.
Didn’t realise that I got so many working uniforms till today I cleaned the wardrobes in downstairs, it used to be my room as well, then they decided to make it a living room again. That’s why I still got books and clothes there. Threw away two bags of clothes away might not seems a lot but it’s a baby step, lol. Cut three old jeans into short ones, imagine in UK normally the short jeans are like £10 at least, considering I saved at least £30 pound today. Not sure if Singapore still have Hang Ten stores there, used to be quite common brand, just checked it, it’s an America brand, thought it’s a Singapore brand, learn something everyday, innit?
Perfect to wear this summer at home.
So now I got more space in my room, tomorrow I could organise my books and probably turn the bed to another direction, hopefully tomorrow would not be as hot as last two days.
First time saw growing potatoes in raw eyes, lol, so interesting, two days my landlord already cooked some home growing potatoes, tasted so well and she said they’re so easy to cook, she cooked curry with potatoes, yummy yummy.
I didn’t even checking the wine section when I was in Morrison’s, wine is good to share with loved ones. Yogurt is more healthy and important at the moment as breakfast, lol.
Shopping after 8pm was such a bargain, cheaper products only because they were due to the expire dates, you were right, everyday supermarkets are wasting so many food which could still be eaten, probably need to shop more often after 8pm, gosh, do I sound like a poor student, hopefully things will get better soon. Made frozen yogurt tonight with raspberries, I feel like I am turning into another person slowly, lol. Told Gaby that I started cleaning my room little by little, she was laughing a lot, because every time she comes back from holidays or when the season changes she always does a deep clean in the house, from everything in the cupboards to the loo and all the clothes. She is not OCD at all, that’s why it sounds a bit crazy.
Manual coffee grinder could not compare with coffee machine but the process was so much fun, and made the coffee tasted better. The truth is I only got coffee beans left at home, lol. Another friend gave me another bag of beans last week, should be fine for another few months now. Feel very positive this week!
